On the 10th, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that SEVENTEEN had released their 4th album in Japan.
The single "Expiration Date" has been certified as a double platinum gold disc with cumulative shipments exceeding 500,000 copies as of November. The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIA) is the monthly record sales stanza that marks the milestone of 100,000 units shipped each month.
Gold Disc certification is given to doctors who have achieved Gold Disc status, with awards divided into categories such as Golden (over 100,000 copies sold), Platinum (over 250,000 copies sold), and Double Platinum (over 500,000 copies sold).
Thus, SEVENTEEN now has their 18th gold disc certified album.

Following their first single "THIS MAN" (Gold) and 12th mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" (Platinum), they have achieved four certifications this year alone, becoming a high-profile group in Japan.
Immediately after its release on the 27th of last month, "Expiry Date" shot straight to the top of Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking and maintained the top spot for a total of nine days.
It also topped the Billboard Japan top single sales chart for four days.
"SEVENTEEN" is continuing their Japan Dome Tour with all seats being sold out.
Following Nagoya, the concerts held at Tokyo Dome on the 4th and 5th were praised by local media as "filling the venue with energy" (Tokyo Chunichi Sports), "
"It proved their overwhelming popularity" (Nikkan Sports). The concerts will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 12th and 14th-15th, and at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on the 19th and 21st-22nd.
SEVENTEEN's 12th mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" was recently selected as one of the "Best K-POP Albums of 2024" by the US Billboard.
