Lee Jae-myung is ”accused” again... of inciting ”civil unrest” to ”avoid legal risks” = South Korea

Lee Jung-bae, a Seoul city council member from South Korea's ruling party, the People Power Party, has once again "accused" Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On the 14th of this month, Rep. Lee posted on her Facebook page, "This afternoon, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office filed criminal charges against Representative Lee on suspicion of preparation and conspiracy to incite rebellion.
"The accused Chairman Lee went along with the outrageous false incitement of journalist and progressive YouTuber Kim Oh-joon and caused the Democratic Party to sue the Democratic Party," Lee wrote.
The party has drawn up an action plan for passing the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol and set guidelines for holding press conferences or rallies in front of the offices of ruling party lawmakers, among other things.
"The fact that he has been impeached is equivalent to committing a serious crime, such as preparing and plotting to incite rebellion," he continued.
The reason why they created a code of conduct for the president and took organized action was that they had "overthrown a national institution established by the Constitution (the president) through coercion (impeachment) or made it impossible for him to exercise his powers (his duties)"
"Impeachment of the president should be exercised as an exception only when the violation of the Constitution and laws is serious and clear, but President Yoon violated the Constitution and laws.
It has yet to be determined whether the violation is serious and obvious. However, this is only being asserted by the opposition Democratic Party.
"To impeach without any investigation clearly constitutes the crime of treason," Rep. Lee said. "In order to avoid the risk of legality for Representative Lee himself, they incited public opinion without going through any legal democratic procedures.
"The attempt to remove the president, who was elected by the people, from his position through this is a civil war that violates the Constitution," he said. "The people will certainly bring him to historic justice. The investigative authorities are conducting a thorough investigation because the case is very serious.
We ask that a thorough investigation be carried out to ensure that the defendant, CEO Lee, is severely punished."
