On the 15th, YouTuber A posted a video of the Yeouido rally the previous day. In the video, people were seen handing out free placards all over Yeouido.
There were booths for the Korean Medical Association, a medical support group booth for the Korean Medical Association, and a free snack bus.
I also noticed people handing out hand warmers in the cold. In the middle of the crowd, there were stalls selling walnut snacks and kamaboko skewers. When A asked one stall how much kamaboko was,
"One bottle costs 5,000 won (about 530 yen)." Surprised, Mr. A asked again, thinking he had misheard, but got the same answer.
Mr. A was shocked and said, "This is going too far. It's fine to sell it, but the profits are too excessive."
At the store, skewers of grilled chicken were being sold for 3,000 won (about 320 yen) each, and Mr. A bought and ate one, saying, "I accept this price."
He was annoyed by the excessive profits made by the kamaboko stall, but the video immediately showed him offering drinks to the rally participants.
It was heartwarming to see cafes offering discounts and free kamaboko trucks from writers' groups appearing. Meanwhile, celebrities and Koreans living in the U.S. who were unable to attend the impeachment rally joined the rally in the cold.
Advance payments were made one after another to help affected citizens.
