As an example, drone developer Ubifi's swarm-flying aircraft and systems have been awarded a total of $10 million (USD, approximately 1.5367 billion) in funding from the United States, Canada, Germany, and other countries.
Over 10 million yen was exported to the US. In addition, the drone station developed by Nice Lab, which enables autonomous flight, won the Innovation Award 2025 at the US IT trade fair CES.
According to the department, most of the drone exporting companies are small and medium-sized enterprises. They are all companies that have taken on new business fields and developed their technologies.
