South Korea's Foreign Ministry calls Russia's claim that South Korea regularly provokes North Korea ”inappropriate”

"It is our responsibility to avert the instability on the Korean peninsula and in the region," a South Korean Foreign Ministry official told reporters on the same day.
"It is obvious who it is," he said, adding, "Russia and North Korea must stop shifting the blame for their own illegal acts, and immediately end military cooperation that undermines peace and stability in Northeast Asia and Europe."
"It is inappropriate for a spokesperson for a foreign government to use South Korea's domestic political situation as an excuse to criticize South Korea's consistent policies and publicly state allegations that are not based on the facts," he added.
Prior to this, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said at a regular press conference on the 18th (local time), "President Yoon Seok-yeol and other leaders have justified the declaration of emergency martial law.
When asked about his opinion on the report that "South Korea tried to provoke conflict on the Korean Peninsula in order to provoke North Korea's

Spokesperson Maria Zakharova also announced on the 17th that the South Korean government will impose its own sanctions against North Korea on individuals and companies in Russia and North Korea.
Regarding the imposition of the restrictions, he said, "The reason is clear. It is an attempt to instill false information in the South Korean people that 'threats come from North Korea and Russia.'"
