Aptos Labs CEO Mo Sheikh steps down; CLO Avery Ching appointed

Mo Shaikh, co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, has announced that he will step down as CEO of the company and will serve as a strategic advisor.
Avery Ching, co-founder and CTO, has been appointed as the new CEO.
Mo Shaik co-founded Aptos Labs with Avery Ching in 2021 and has raised $400 million since the company was founded.
"Today, I am leaving Aptos Labs to start a new venture," Moe Shaikh wrote in a post on X on the 19th.
"I leave Aptos Labs with the utmost confidence in the team.
"I believe that Avery Ching will lead the company into its next phase of growth as its new CEO," he said.
Meanwhile, Avery Ching, the newly appointed CEO, said through X, "Aptos is expanding its developer community in India, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, China, and other countries.
This is the plan," he said.
