Tanker truck ”slips” on snowy road... ”10,000 liters of gasoline” spills out = South Korea

At around 6:50 a.m. on the 21st, a car was seen crossing the road on the Seosan-Yeongdeok Expressway in the area of Shinyeong-ri, Yugu-eup, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do.
A tanker truck slipped on a snowy road on the road heading in the direction of the road. The tanker truck's storage tank collided with a guardrail during the accident, damaging it and causing approximately 10,000 liters of gasoline to spill.
Of this, about 4,000 liters was reported to have flowed into the Uigucheon River through a storm drain. Fire department officials, along with officials from Chungcheongnam-do, Gongju City, and the Geumgang River Basin Environment Agency,
The clean-up work took about three hours using non-woven fabrics and other materials. Police believe that the tanker truck was unable to slow down on the snowy road, which led to the accident.
