Actress Kim Tae-Ri makes a gaffe at the SBS Awards ceremony saying, ”This year, MBC...” Lee Je Hoon follows up

Actress Kim Tae-Ri surprised viewers by saying the wrong word during a live broadcast.

At the ‘2024 SBS Acting Awards’ ceremony held on the 21st, awards were presented in various categories, from the grand prize to the rookie of the year award.

At the end of the broadcast, actors Lee Jae-hoon and Kim Tae-Ri appeared on stage to present the long-awaited grand awards, as they were joint winners of the ‘2023 SBS Acting Awards’ last year for ‘Revenge Agent 2 - Model Taxi’ and ‘Evil Demon’ respectively, and this year they appeared side by side as presenters.

First, Lee Jae-hoon addressed Kim Tae-Ri and asked her if the 2024 SBS drama had received particularly enthusiastic love from viewers this year, following on from last year.

In response, Kim Tae-Ri suddenly named another station, saying, "This year, MBC..." and when she admitted her mistake and was surprised herself, Lee Jae-hoon appeared to correct her, saying, "It's SBS, isn't it?". Kim Tae-Ri apologised, saying, "I'm very nervous right now and I'm really sorry."

Lee Jae-hoon responded, "It's okay. This is the best part of live broadcasting" and followed up Kim Tae-Ri. The actors in the audience applauded and cheered to calm the atmosphere. The two then continued with the awards, telling the audience about the revival of next year's SBS Monday-Tuesday drama and news of the production of ‘Model Taxi’ Season 3.

Amidst the sudden gaffes that caught the attention of the audience, the nominees for the day's grand prize were ‘Good Partner: Divorce Worries Solved’ Jang Nara, ‘Connection’ Ji Sung, ‘7 Escape season 2 - Revenge’ Hwang Jung Eum, ‘Hot Blood Priest 2’ Kim Nam Gil and ‘Demon Girlfriend is a Judge’ Park Shin Hye, Jang Nara won the trophy after a competitive battle between the names of ‘Zaibatsu x Detective’ and Ahn Bo-hyun.

Park Shin-hye also won the Directors' Award, Kim Nam-gil won the Best Male Award in the Seasonal Drama category and Ahn Bo-hyun won the Best Male Award in the Genre/Action category.
