Naver Maps usage guide page launched, also available in Japanese (Korea)

IT giant Naver has announced that it has launched a "Naver Map Usage Guide" page to help foreign tourists use the map service "Naver Map" to make their travels more convenient and enjoyable.
The guide is available in three languages: English, Chinese and Japanese. As the only service in Korea that supports four languages, it has become a must-have app for foreign tourists visiting Korea.
The "Naver Maps User Guide" provides detailed multilingual information on tips for exploring places worth visiting and how to use public transportation route search.
The guidebook is available at tourist information centers at Incheon International Airport, airport railroad information centers, and the Welcome Center in Myeongdong.
The plan is to place them in major locations frequented by foreign tourists. Choi Seung-rak, leader of the Naver Map service, said, "For example, we will collaborate with overseas influencers to promote the

Starting in 2018, the company plans to allow foreign language users to use its map services at the same level as Korean speakers.
In 2024, the scope of multilingual support will be expanded to include visitor ratings for specific locations and "place filters" that make it easier to find stores that match your tastes.

The company plans to improve the accuracy and convenience of multilingual searches by 2025, and to create an environment where foreign visitors can easily make reservations for restaurants and performances.
