Daegu wildfire extinguished at 50% rate... Switching to nighttime firefighting mode = South Korea

A forest fire broke out on the three national slopes of Gunwi County, Daegu, South Korea, and firefighting operations are ongoing. According to the South Korean forestry authorities, the fire broke out at around 2:15 pm on the 31st at the three national slopes of Gunwi County.
A fire of unknown cause broke out in Kitasatoyama. The forestry authorities issued a forest fire response level 1 at 4:30 p.m. and deployed 18 HYERI helicopters to extinguish the fire. However, due to strong winds and rough conditions,
Firefighting was difficult due to the mountain being covered in snow. At around 5:40 pm, when the sun went down, the forestry authorities withdrew the HYERI helicopter and switched to a nighttime firefighting system using ground firefighters.
The fire is still under control, with 45 vehicles and around 470 personnel, including firefighters and civil servants, working to prevent the fire from spreading. As of 8 pm that day, the fire was at 50% containment.
In case of an emergency, 24 residents from 14 households have evacuated to a nearby cultural center, and so far there have been no casualties or property damage. The estimated area of damage from the forest fire is about 14 hectares.
