China's tourism and related industries to account for 4.24% of GDP in 2023: Chinese report

According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China, the results of the 5th National Economic Census show that the added value of the national tourism and related industries in 2023 is expected to be 5.4832 trillion yen (approximately 118.2 trillion yen).
The tourism industry accounted for 4.24% of the country's GDP, up 0.57 percentage points from the previous year. Looking at the internal composition, the tourism industry was 4.989 trillion yen (approximately 107.6 trillion yen), the proportion of the total industry that was 4.989 trillion yen.
