Former President Moon Jae-in's New Year's greeting: ”The people will drive away evil and uphold justice” = South Korea

On the 1st, former South Korean President Moon Jae-in said, "Let us share hope and comfort, like the new morning sun that drives away the darkness."
On the same day, former President Moon posted on Facebook, "I would like to know what the costs and aftereffects will be that our people will have to bear from now on.
"It is difficult to measure how much, but we will win," he wrote in his New Year's message. "(Last year) was a truly painful and difficult year," Moon said, "We have been overcome by delusional and insane politics.
"We have welcomed the new year amid the unimaginable pain and deep sorrow caused by the plane disaster," he said. "Our people are strong. We will drive away evil, uphold justice, and turn our sorrow into a lesson for safety."
"History is always on the side of the people," he wrote. "There has never been a time when the New Year's greeting of 'May the New Year bring you many blessings' has been more poignant than it is this year," he wrote.
May he remain healthy in body and mind," he added.
