The High-Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency again requests the National Guard to assist Acting President Choi Sang-mok in executing warrants (South Korea)

On the 4th, the High-Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency (HPA) asked Deputy Prime Minister Choi Sang-mok, who is acting as the President and Minister of Strategy and Finance, to cooperate in executing the arrest warrant for President Yoon Seok-yeol.
The Public Prosecutor's Office sent a public document stating, "We once again requested the acting President Choi, who is in charge of commanding the Presidential Security Service, to cooperate and take command of the Presidential Security Service."
The previous day, after the execution of the arrest warrant for President Yoon had failed, the Public Prosecutors' Office said, "We notified Acting Presidential Authority Choi Sang-mok, who is in charge of and supervises the Presidential Security Service, that the Security Service had issued an arrest warrant."
The ministry said it plans to strongly request that the ministry issue an order to comply with the execution.
