Na Kyung-wan, People's Power lawmaker: ”The opposition party instigated the withdrawal of the insurrection charge?... It's a fraud against the people” = South Korea

On the 5th, People Power (ruling party) lawmaker Na Kyung-won commented that the National Assembly impeachment group, led by the opposition party Jun-Wai, had withdrawn the charge of treason from the grounds for impeachment against President Yoon Seok-Yeol.
"He incited the whole country to rebellion, and now they're saying they want to remove the rebellion charge," he said, urging a second vote on the impeachment motion.
"Virtually all of the military and police personnel, including the Minister of Defense and the Commissioner General of the National Police Agency, have been arrested on charges of treason. I, along with other members of the People's Power Diet, have also been charged with propaganda for treason," he said.
He continued, "The Democratic Party of Korea is committing a 'civil war scam against the people.' The Democratic Party of Korea's claim that all acts of civil war should remain as grounds for impeachment, but that the crime of civil war should be excluded,
"It's a sneaky sophistry," he said. "If all acts of insurrection are grounds for impeachment, then of course we must question whether the crime of insurrection exists. The crime of simple violation of martial law and the crime of insurrection are both constitutional.
This is because there is a big difference in the level of violation of the law. The opposition party should stop making lame excuses for the exclusion of the crime of treason for Lee Jae-myung, the chairman of the Democratic Party of Japan, and should stop inciting the crime of treason.
"If they do not, they should leave the charge of treason as a prosecution charge and accept the decision of the Constitutional Court with dignity," he said.
Meanwhile, the People Power Party is focusing on a second vote on the impeachment motion. Kwon Yeong-se, chairman of the People Power Party's emergency response committee, also spoke at the emergency meeting held at the National Assembly on the same day.
At a joint meeting of the National Assembly's task force and senior lawmakers, the National Assembly impeachment committee removed the charge of treason from the grounds for impeaching President Yoon, saying, "The impeachment bill was hastily passed and is a fraudulent impeachment. It is a false impeachment that is unjust to the people.
The Democratic Party of Japan has admitted to inciting the people to commit suicide by assaulting the president, and called on the Democratic Party of Japan to apologize to the people and to vote on the impeachment motion again.
