”BIGBANG” SOL, when interviewed, unexpected malicious comment terrorism from ”BTS” overseas fans

SOL of the group BIGBANG was terrorised by international fans of BTS for writing malicious comments.

On the 31st December last year, SOL's New Year interview with CNN was published. At the time, CNN stated, "You and BIGBANG played a pioneering role in making K-pop a global phenomenon. How do you feel now that K-Pop has influenced the whole world?."

In response, SOL humbly replied, "Fortunately, many junior members who have followed in our footsteps have opened the gates to the global market through the path we have taken, and it feels good to feel a part of our efforts rather than us giving them the time to perform on the global stage."

Then, international fans of ‘BTS’ began to make vicious comments on SOL's most recent post within his personal SNS. They criticised the content of the interview, saying, "It was BTS that opened the door to the global market, not “BIGBANG” that pioneered it."

SOL has not responded in any way to the vicious written terrorism of ‘BTS’'s foreign fans. SOL's domestic and international fans have watched and fought a tongue war against the malicious writing of ‘BTS’ fans and left comforting messages to SOL in their comments.

Some expressed their respect for ‘BTS’ for ‘BIGBANG’ in the past and reiterated the point that ‘BIGBANG’ was their role model. Since it was ‘BTS’ who made ‘BIGBANG’ their role model, it was pointed out that the malicious comment terror of some overseas fans could be embarrassing from the standpoint of ‘BTS’.

Meanwhile, ‘BIGBANG’, to which SOL belongs, became the first Korean-language album to chart on the Billboard 200 with their mini-album ‘ALIVE’.
