Deep Fei Ku punished for merely possessing it... High school student referred to prosecutors in South Korea

A high school student in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea, was referred to prosecutors on suspicion of using DeepFeiq to edit photos of female students and possessing the images.
According to the Chungbuk National Police Agency, a student named A (19), who is a student at a high school in the Chungbuk area, was arrested on suspicion of violating the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.
It was revealed on the 6th that the case has been referred to the prosecutor's office for investigation. A-kun is suspected of having put together a nude photo of a female student from the same school and possessing the photo in September last year.
The female student reportedly heard rumors that Mr. A had created a Deep Fei Que video using her photo and filed a complaint with the police.
Police say that A-san was a member of DeepFeiQ through digital forensics.
It has not been confirmed that A distributed the compound. After investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, the police plan to send A to the prosecution in the near future.
With the revision of the Sexual Violence Punishment Law last year, even if Deep Fei images are not distributed, simply possessing, purchasing, storing, or viewing them can be punished.
