An anonymous donor from Gyeongsangnam-do, who has made donations without revealing his identity whenever there is a major social disaster in South Korea, was killed in a fire at Muan International Airport.
They also lent a helping hand to the Jeju Air passenger plane accident. According to the Gyeongsangnam-do Social Welfare Community Chest on the 7th, at around 1:10 pm the previous day, an anonymous donor, Mr. A, wrote to the fundraiser, "To support the victims of the passenger plane accident.
When the fundraising staff member who received Mr. A's call checked the box, they found 10 million won (approximately 1.08 million yen), a handwritten letter, and a chrysanthemum flower.
A box containing a ring was placed there. The handwritten letter read, "I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives in the Muan Airport passenger plane accident. I would also like to think of words of comfort for the bereaved families who are in the midst of their grief.
I cannot think of anything to say to them and my heart aches. I hope that this will be of some help to the bereaved families. Please do your best," the message read.
