The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kim Cheol-soo) announced that Mocha Network, the flagship blockchain project of the global investment company AnyMocha brand, will be donating funds to help with the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.
On the 9th, Mocha Network announced that it had donated 1 million MOCA (400 million won, approximately 43.25 million yen) to the Korean Red Cross together with the Mocha Foundation to comfort the families of those killed in the accident.
The donation will be used to support the bereaved families who are facing difficulties as a result of the accident, and for damage recovery and relief efforts.
"I participated in the donation in the hopes of helping to return people to a normal, normal life," he said. "I would like to express my condolences and deepest sympathies to all those grieving over this sudden accident."
Immediately after the Jeju Air passenger plane accident, the Korean Red Cross sent volunteers, staff members, and psychological counseling activists to the scene with relief supplies and equipment.
They have been mobilized on an emergency basis to provide medical and psychological support, and are also running a fundraising campaign through a website and bank account to support the families of victims.
