Hong Jun-pyo, mayor of Daegu, South Korea, said, "Even if the people want a change of government, they don't want Lee Jae-myung (the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea) to take over the government.
"If there are differences in ideas and ways of governing, even if it is a change in power within the party, it will be a change of government," Mayor Hong wrote on Feisbook on the 12th.
He added, "When the Lee Myung-bak administration was replaced by the Park Geun-hye administration, many people saw it as a change of government."
Mayor Hong added, "This is clearly reflected in the opinion polls. 65% of the public want a change of government, but Lee's approval rating is only 35%.
"No matter how high the percentage of people who want a change of government is, the percentage of people who want a change of government under Chairman Lee is 30 percentage points lower, and the level of dislike for Chairman Lee is approaching 60 percent.
This is proof that our people do not want a criminal president."
