Last year's top three international routes for passenger numbers were all to Japan - South Korea

South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport revealed that "last year, the top three busiest international air routes were Japan routes."
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 2024 aviation statistics on the 14th, the number of passengers using the Incheon-Narita route last year increased by 32% compared to the previous year (2023).
The Narita route was the second most popular route in 2023 after the Incheon-Kansai (Osaka) route.
In second place was the Kansai route, which was used by 4,452,000 people, and in third place was the Fukuoka route (3,357,275 people).
In fourth place was Bangkok (2,952,876 passengers), in fifth place was Hong Kong (2,674,456 passengers), and in sixth place was Taipei (2,308,304 passengers).
In terms of passenger numbers on international routes by region last year, Japan had the most with 25.14 million passengers, followed by China with 1,377
It ranked second in the number of people who viewed it.
