Regarding the move, he said, "The Public Prosecutor's Office and the police will not back down and I hope that they will arrest Yoon Seok-yeol, the mastermind of the rebellion, by the end of today."
Park, the floor leader, told reporters at the National Assembly that morning, "Currently, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the police are investigating Yoon Seok-yeol.
"We are executing the arrest warrant for the suspects," he said, adding, "It has been 44 days since the December 3rd civil unrest and one month since the impeachment bill was passed."
"Yoon Seok-yol bears the greatest responsibility for bringing about the current situation. He violated the Constitution and the law by declaring emergency martial law, but he has not been able to carry out legitimate law enforcement."
"He is a serious criminal who has refused to even take part in the protests and turned South Korea into a lawless place," he said. "I have to say that the attitude of Choi Sang-mok, acting president (Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Strategy and Finance), is also problematic."
"They are avoiding their responsibility and duty to uphold the Constitution and the law, and are issuing excessive instructions that are obstructing the legitimate execution of the law," he said. "If something goes wrong today, all the responsibility falls on the head of the administration," he said.
"It's on the agency," he emphasized.
