A man in his 60s set himself on fire in front of the High-Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency (South Korea)

A man in his 60s attempted suicide by self-immolation near the Gwacheon office of the Office for Investigation of Crimes Against High-Ranking Public Officials in Gachon City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and died.
According to fire officials on the 15th, at around 8:05 pm that day, a man in his 60s was shot dead in a car park next to the High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency.
At the same time, fire department officials received multiple reports of a loud popping sound on the lawn.
Fire department officials responded immediately and put out the fire at 8:21 p.m., and the fire was considered severe.
The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state. However, he died there. Police are currently trying to confirm the identity of the man, but are not yet able to obtain the exact details of the incident from witnesses.
