On the 16th, the 4th Criminal Division of the Changwon District Court (Judge Kim In-taek) in South Korea filed a suit for murder and robbery.
The court sentenced A (28) and B (40), who were indicted on charges of concealing a body, to life imprisonment and 30 years imprisonment, respectively. They also ordered each to wear electronic location tracking devices for 10 years.
C (27), who was indicted on charges of robbery and murder, was sentenced to 25 years in prison and ordered to wear an electronic device for 10 years.
They lured the victim, Mr. D (35), whom they met at a club in Bangkok on May 3 last year.
They are suspected of abducting Mr. D in a rental car and taking him to Pattaya in order to steal his money, then killing him and dumping his body in a nearby reservoir in a large plastic bucket filled with cement.
In order to make it impossible to identify the deceased Mr. D, they performed the cruel act of amputating all of his fingers.
