Popular rapper referred to prosecutors for ”assault on passerby” on suspicion of special assault (Korea)

Popular Korean rapper San E (real name: Jung Sang) has been referred to prosecutors on suspicion of assaulting a passerby with a cell phone and other objects.
Seoul Mapo Police Station arrested rapper San on suspicion of special assault on the 10th of this month.
The prosecutors announced on the 22nd that E had been sent to the prosecution without detention. The investigation into Chung's father, A, who was indicted alongside Chung, was terminated by agreement between the parties.
Chung is accused of assaulting a passerby, surnamed B, with a mobile phone and other objects in a park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, in July last year.
