The Korean polling organization "Gallup Korea" conducted a survey of 1,000 men and women aged 18 and over from the 21st to the 23rd of this month.
According to a survey of party approval ratings conducted in the fourth week of January, the Democratic Party was at 40% and the ruling party at 38%. In the previous survey (third week of January), the ruling party was at 39% and the Democratic Party at 36%, but this time the ruling party was at 10%.
The Democratic Party's approval rating fell by 1.2 percentage points, while the Democratic Party's approval rating rose by 4 percentage points.
"The LDP's support for the Democratic Party of Japan reached a new record high, widening the gap with the ruling party, but since the start of this month, the gap has narrowed and the two parties are now in a dead heat."
According to a survey by Gallup Korea, in the first week of December last year, the Democratic Party recorded 37% support and the ruling party 27% support.
However, the subsequent "impeachment political situation" led to a continued trend of "the Democratic Party rising and the ruling party falling," and by the third week of December the gap had widened to 48% for the Democratic Party and 24% for the ruling party.
However, in the second week of January this year, the gap narrowed to 36% for the Democratic Party and 34% for the ruling party, and in the previous survey (third week of January), the approval rating of the ruling party was 34% higher than that of the Democratic Party.
It surpassed the odds and "reversed" the trend.
