President Yoon's detention extension not approved... People's Power ”Release the president immediately” = South Korea

In connection with the Seoul Central District Court's refusal to extend the detention period of South Korean President Yoon Seok-youl, the People Power Group called on the 24th for the president to be released immediately.
"We strongly urge that a lawful investigation be resumed under due process and with his detention," People Power chief spokesman Shin Dong Wook said in a commentary on the same day.
Prior to this, the prosecutor's special martial law investigation headquarters had requested an extension of the detention period after the High Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency (PPA) referred the case to the prosecution the previous day, but the court did not approve the request.
