Joo Ji Hoon's heroic work has been a hit...Netflix's ”Trauma Code” reaches 5th place globally in viral reach

The Netflix original series ‘Trauma Code’, starring actor Joo Ji-hoon, is showing upward momentum as word of mouth spreads.

According to OTT (online video service) content ranking aggregator Felix Patrol, Netflix original series ‘Trauma Code’ ranked fifth globally in the TV series category.

‘Night Agent’ ranked first, ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 second, ‘X-O, Kitty’ third and ‘Sakamoto Days’ fourth.

‘Trauma Code’, which was released on 24th last year, is a work that contains the poignant story of Baek Gang-hyuk (Joo Ji-hoon), a genius surgeon from the battlefield, who is assigned to rebuild a famous and innocent severe trauma team. The film has been well received both in Korea and abroad for its poignant story, tension-filled direction and passionate performances by the actors. In particular, it has been loved by viewers who associate medical dramas with heroes.

It ranked first in seven countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, and in the US, it ranked eighth, up two places from its tenth place record the previous day, showing its upward momentum.

Prior to this, ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 was ranked No. 1 worldwide and showed hot popularity. There is a lot of interest in whether ‘Trauma Code’ can ride on word of mouth and follow this momentum.
