Actor Choi Jin-Hyuk received the Excellence Award trophy. On the 29th, the "2024 SBS Entertainment Awards" was broadcast live, and he was the star of "My Ugly Child" (Japanese title: "Arafo").
Choi JinHyuk of "My Son's Growth Diary" won the Male Excellence Award. Choi JinHyuk said, "I am truly grateful to receive such a big award even though I have never done anything like this before."
She continued, "I remember that I was offered the role in 'My Ugly Duckling' about six years ago," and "I politely refused for about two years, and then I started to wonder, 'Why am I in the role of My Ugly Duckling?'
I thought about it, but recently my mother was amused when I did something stupid after being called names and scolded by others. I feel like I need to try harder and do stupid things. I'm really grateful.
Choi Jinhyuk said, "This is the first time I've ever seen my mother with makeup on. I'm grateful to the 'My Ugly Duckling' team."
The SBS Entertainment Awards was scheduled to be broadcast live on the 31st of last month, but was postponed to honor the victims of the Jeju Airlines crash.
