‘Convenience Store Restaurant’ reveals surprising episodes from Kim Jaejoong's parents' youth.

In the KBS 2TV Lunar New Year special ‘New Product Launch - Convenience Store Restaurant’, which will be broadcast on the 31st January, a day full of Jaejoong's filial devotion will be revealed. Jaejoong will prepare an event full of his son's sincerity for his mother's birthday. In the process, Jaejoong's parents' special memories of their younger days will also be revealed.

Jaejoong's VCR, which will be released on this day, began with a story about Jaejoong visiting the home of his nine siblings' mother, Mrs Yoo Mang Soon, on her birthday. Jaejoong surprised his mother by preparing a surprise event for her birthday. The members of ‘Convenience Store Restaurant’ watched over the happy and laughing mother and her son, and marvelled, "Where can you find such a kind son?" They were amazed.

Jaejoong and his parents met and talked about their parents' younger days. Jaejoong asked, "Didn't your mother participate in a singing contest and win a prize?" Jaejoong's mother revealed why she dreamt of becoming a singer 62 years ago, but had to give up her dream. She then squeezed her son's hand, saying, "My wish was fulfilled by my son."

Jaejoong then said, "Your father tried to become a celebrity too", to which Jaejoong's father smiled brightly and said, "I wasn't a star like you, but I did model for magazines." A photo of Jaejoong's father in his younger days was then shown on the screen.

What was more surprising was that his father, who was very visual, was also a local celebrity for a different reason. When Chef Lee Yong-bok told Jaejoong about this episode, he was surprised that Jaejoong had inherited it straight from his father.
