"The People's Power is not cutting ties with President Yoon, the ringleader of the civil war, but is instead engaged in a blind loyalty contest," he said.
"The far-right forces are supporting President Yoon like a king, so the People's Power is also supporting President Yoon," Hwang said.
"They have pledged allegiance to the government and are staging a massive far-right march. The People's Power, which has embarked on a loyalty contest against the mastermind of the civil war, must immediately escape from the nightmare of far-right politics," he demanded.
Earlier that day, Kwon said at a press conference at the National Assembly, "As you all know, I have a deep personal friendship with President Yoon.
"The president is in a difficult situation, so I will meet him as a human being if I have the opportunity," Hwang said.
He also criticized the fact that the Acting Chief of Staff and Representative Lee have raised questions about the fairness of the impeachment trial of President Yoon through their friendship.
"The actions of the People's Power group are a confession that they are complicit in the rebellion," he said. "The only way left for the People's Power group, which is still on the path of appealing the Constitutional Court's impeachment ruling, is to defeat the far-right.
