South Korean opposition party rejects Acting President's special investigation into insurrection law... ”We will hold him responsible”

On the 31st, South Korea's largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, announced that Choi Sang-mok, acting president (Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Strategy and Finance),
The right to request reconsideration (veto) of the "Special Prosecutor's Law on Civil Rebellion" (Special Prosecutor's Law)
"As we have already warned, we will hold Acting President Choi accountable," he said.
"By rejecting the Special Investigation Act for the Civil Unrest, he has admitted to being complicit in the civil unrest or to being a sympathetic force," he said.
He continued, "Since assuming his position as acting president, (Choi) has opposed the Special Prosecutor's Office on Insurrection a total of seven times, including twice.
"Why should the acting president, who is supposed to stabilize the national administration that President Yoon Seok-yol messed up, continue to follow Yoon Seok-yol's governing style?
Or are they planning to inherit and strengthen it?" he criticized.
