The late Oh Yo-anna's wrist, one month before her death, attracts attention... Former weather anchor: ”I was the same” = Korea
MBC weather anchor Oh Yo-han, who passed away amid allegations of workplace bullying, is once again drawing attention for her appearance one month before her death.
Bae Suyeong, a former member of the cast, mourned the death of her junior, the late Oh Yohan. Bae revealed her own past experiences and called for the truth to be revealed.
On the 3rd, various social media sites such as X and online sites posted a post titled "The condition of the late Oh Yohanna's wrist 15 days before her death."
The post shows Oh delivering weather forecasts from August 26 to 29 last year. Oh's left wrist is taped.
On the 31st of last month, on JTBC's "Case Leader," Oh's family revealed that Oh had crossed two dangerous passes just a few days before his death.
"The first attempt was made on September 6 last year, and then another attempt was made after that. In the end, he died on September 15," the statement said. As a result, internet users have been wondering why Oh's wrist was taped.
This supports the family's claim that she attempted suicide to escape from the pain.
"It's so painful. I really don't know what to say about something like this happening at MBC, and especially in the weather team where I was a part of," she said, expressing her heartbroken feelings.
"Every day, I feel devastated by the new information I hear," he said. "It was the same when I left MBC. No one could hear my voice as a freelance weather anchor.
"I was at MBC, the news department, the weather team. It was a job and workplace that I loved very much, but after I found out what was going on behind the scenes there, I had no choice but to leave," Bae said.
"I thought things had changed a little, but I can't believe they haven't changed at all," he said. "Please conduct a thorough investigation and make sure that no one has to endure any regrets," he said.
"I sincerely hope that the truth will come to light," he said, adding, "I hope that Oh Yohanna junior is not sad over there. I hope that I will be able to meet her once more. I pray for the repose of the deceased's soul."
Bae joined MBC as a weather anchor through open recruitment in 2005, left the company in 2010, and is now working as a freelance announcer.
Oh, who joined MBC as a weather anchor through open recruitment in 2021, suddenly passed away in September last year. She was 28 years old. Recently, it was revealed that Oh had been bullied at work before her death.
The discovery of a suicide note stating that the victim had received the letter has caused controversy.
