Meanwhile, some Taiwanese media outlets have claimed that Barbie's cause of death was not pneumonia, but sepsis.
According to the media, Barbie's cough worsened 1-2 days after she arrived in Japan.
After two days in the hotel, Barbie's condition worsened rapidly, so the family immediately went to a large hospital in Tokyo.
He was diagnosed with influenza and medical staff attempted CPR but he eventually died, with the cause of death listed as sepsis on his death certificate.
The media, quoting experts, said that influenza led to pneumonia, and that delayed treatment led to sepsis, “a primetime broadcast.”
"The fact that she missed her chance had a decisive influence on her death," he said. Meanwhile, Barbie married a businessman in 2011 and had one son and one daughter, but divorced in 2021 after 10 years of marriage.
She then announced her marriage to Koo Jun Yeob, her former boyfriend of 20 years, in March 2022.
