Taekyung, a member of the Korean group 2PM and also active as an actor, quickly brushed off a theory that he was about to get married to his long-time girlfriend.

　On the 5th (today), 51K, Taekyeong's agency, told a Korean media outlet, "The marriage rumors between Taekyeong and his girlfriend are not true" and added, "We have not yet decided on a date or anything concrete. There is no such thing as a marriage proposal. There are no immediate plans" and denied the marriage rumors.

　They added "The photo that has recently been attracting attention on the internet as a marriage proposal was taken on my girlfriend's birthday last year" and stated "It seems that this photo became a topic of conversation again after a delay, and speculation that a marriage date has been decided has emerged."

　Recently, a couple snapshot of Taekyeong and his girlfriend, a common woman, spread on Chinese fans' SNS and internet communities, raising marriage theories. The controversial photo showed Taekyeong kneeling and presenting a ring to his girlfriend with the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France in the background.

　After admitting his relationship with a non-celebrity in 2020, Taekyung has been in a long relationship with her since then. His girlfriend is said to be a company employee working at a general company.

　When he admitted the relationship, Taekyeung said, "I feel really sorry to everyone who was surprised and hurt by the sudden news.
