Taecyeon, a member of the Korean group 2PM and also an actor, was quick to deny rumors that he was close to marrying an ordinary woman he has been dating for a long time.
On the 5th (today), Taecyeon's management office, 51K, told a Korean media outlet, "The WEDDING RUMORS about Ok Taecyeon and her boyfriend are not true."
"No specific date has been decided yet. I haven't proposed or anything like that. I have no plans to get married anytime soon," he said, denying any wedding rumors.
"The photo that has been trending online lately as a proposal is from a couple I fell in love with last year.
The photo was taken on someone's birthday," and "although belatedly, this photo has become a hot topic once again, sparking speculation that the wedding date has been set."
Recently, on Chinese social media and internet communities, photos of Taecyeon and her non-celebrity girlfriend were shared.
WEDDING RUMORS have surfaced. In a photo collected by Hot Topic, Taecyeon was seen kneeling and presenting a ring to her lover with the Eiffel Tower in the background in Paris, France.
Previously, Taecyeon admitted to being in a relationship with a non-celebrity woman in 2020 and has been in a long-term relationship to this day.
When Taecyeon first admitted to her relationship, she said, "I'm really sorry to everyone who was shocked and hurt by the sudden news. I will continue to work with 2PM as I have done up until now.
"I will do my best in both my acting career and my acting career, so please continue to support me," he confessed on his social media account. Since then, the two have quietly continued their relationship.
