At a New Year's press conference held at the National Assembly on the same day, Chairman Kwon said, "Since the launch of the emergency response committee, the party has been fairly stable and its approval rating has recovered, and it has been receiving positive evaluations.
"We must make even greater efforts to meet the needs of the ruling party since the Kwon Emergency Response Committee was launched in the past month to bring the situation under martial law to a close on Dec. 3 at the end of last year," he said.
