JISOO (BLACKPINK) shows a new side in ”Newtopia”

BLACKPINK's JISOO will be showing off her transformation into a new character in "Newtopia." JISOO appeared on Coopang, which was first revealed on the 7th.
She appeared in the play series "Newtopia" 1 and 2 as YOUNG JI. "Newtopia" is a story about a soldier named Jaeyoon (Park Jung Min) and his girlfriend YOUNG JI (JISOO).
The story depicts the zombie-infested downtown Seoul as people rush towards each other, combining bold visuals, humor, and romance in a zombie film.
Young Ji-young, who is in her first month at the company, is adapting to social life while waiting for her boyfriend who is a soldier.
Deciding to take some time off, YOUNG JI-yu called Jaeyoon and in a tearful voice confessed the loneliness she had been feeling. When Jaeyoon accepted the breakup, YOUNG JI-yu's eyes filled with tears.
Before the breakup, YOUNG JI-yu looked at the photos he had taken with Jaeyoon and locked away his memories. He was also unable to concentrate properly at a meal with his senior who was scheming to be next to him, and he couldn't focus on Jaeyoon.
In EP2, where zombies first appear, JISOO's fighting spirit is revealed as she shows visual destruction. When a zombie suddenly rushes in front of her, YOUNG JI-yu shouts,
He even cried after raising his hand in fear. After regaining his composure, YOUNG JI checked to see if the zombies were alive or dead, and showed his courage by asking passersby for help.
In this situation, YOUNG JI-yu also attracted attention with her heart-breaking chemistry with Jaeyoon.
When her senior suggested they go to the police station, she declared that she would head to the tower where Jaeyoon was, raising curiosity about what would happen next.
JISOO will release her mini album "AMORTAGE" on the 14th at 2 p.m. through all online music sites in Korea and abroad, marking her first solo comeback in two years.
"Newtopia" starring JISOO will be released on Coopang Play every Friday at 8 p.m.
