The prosecution said that Lee's statements on four TV stations that he did not know about Kim were false.

The court said, "We can put everything into writing to see the context of the entire statement, but among those, there are false statements that we are prosecuting.
"Is it correct to limit the charges to specific statements, and is it okay if the charges are not changed?" he asked the prosecutors. When the prosecutors responded that there was no need to change the charges, the court said,
In order to clarify which parts need to be judged, please indicate which statements are false, even if the overall context is included."
On that day, the court accepted Jeong Jun-hee, a professor at Hanyang University's Department of Information and Social Media, as a sentencing witness, as requested by Lee's side.
A witness is someone the court will use as a reference when deciding on the sentence. The court will question witnesses again on the 19th, question sentencing witnesses in the morning of the 26th, and hold a closing hearing in the afternoon.
The concluding hearing, which concludes the proceedings, is the final stage of the trial, with the defense's closing arguments, the defendant's closing statements, and the prosecution's sentencing proposal.
The second trial verdict against Lee is expected to be handed down as early as the end of March.
