Four in 10 South Koreans ”Do not trust the Constitutional Court”
Four out of ten South Koreans responded that they do not trust the Constitutional Court. Three out of ten also said they were opposed to the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
In addition, the number of people who said they would actively support Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, if he were to become president was the highest compared to other politicians, but only 10% of people said they would never support him.
The percentage was also quite high. According to a poll conducted by Gallup Korea on the 11th to 13th among 1,004 adults nationwide, 52% of respondents said they trusted the Constitutional Court, and 10% said they did not trust the Constitutional Court.
The percentage of respondents who said they did not trust the courts was 40%, while 8% were unsure.
