"We are grateful for the support and especially support the dreams and passion of the young people," he said. "Martial law has bad memories for us, and the declaration of martial law in early December last year caused the people to become indifferent.
"There are always things that surprise me," he said, "and as president, I feel sorry for those things." Chung added, "Right now, the important question is whether South Korea will collapse or rise again.
"It's time," he said, "Has there ever been so many impeachments (by the opposition party) in the history of our country?" He continued, "President Yoon's approval rating already exceeded 50 percent last week," he said.
"How can the judges of the Constitutional Court impeach the president when the public is calling for him to be reinstated to his duties?"

The court will be forgotten in history," he said. "The judges of the Constitutional Court's decision to go against the will of the people is a direct challenge to democracy and will make them traitors to Korea.
The People's Defence Lawyers Association opened registration to citizens who wanted to "protect President Yoon" on the 3rd of this month, and as of the morning of the 14th, 170,000 people had signed up.
The People's Lawyers Group also plans to hold regular meetings every Thursday.
