This work, created after the death of her husband, depicts an old man being led by an old woman and a young woman kneeling and begging him. It is considered a symbolic representation of her failed love with Rodin, and is one of the most famous works of its kind.
Two versions of the sculpture are currently on display at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and the Musée Camille Claudel outside Paris.
