Korean woman photographing K-pop idol at Fukuoka Airport assaulted by airport staff
A Korean woman was arrested after taking photos of a Korean idol in a no-photography zone at Fukuoka Airport and assaulting a staff member trying to stop her.
On the 18th, Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting (KBC) reported that a man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a customs official at Fukuoka Airport in Japan.
Local police arrested a Korean woman in her 20s, Ms. A (29), on the spot. Ms. A had been shot by a male customs officer, Mr. B (30), at the baggage inspection area of the international terminal at Fukuoka Airport at around 8:30 pm the previous day.
A is accused of hitting B in the chest with his elbow and obstructing his duties. A was caught by B when he was trying to take secret photos of a K-pop idol in a no-photography area.
When Mr. B tried to stop the filming, Mr. A hit Mr. B in the chest with his elbow, tried to hit him in the face, and caused a commotion by lying on the floor and acting violently.
During police questioning, Mr. A reportedly denied the allegations, saying, "I wasn't angry, and I didn't hit him."
