According to information from the Korean industry on the 19th, Samsung will be carrying out a suspension of about 2,000 executives from the vice president level down at all of its affiliated companies, including Samsung Electronics, from the end of February.
The seminar, called "Value Education to Recapture Samsung's Identity," will run from now until April. The seminar will be hosted by the Samsung Human Resources Development Institute and will take place at the institute in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
The aim is to strengthen their roles, responsibilities and organizational management skills, and executives from all affiliated companies will participate in various seminars from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is the first time in nine years that Samsung has held a seminar for executives of all of its affiliated companies. From 2009 to 2016, Samsung held a special seminar for executives every year.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-Yeong posted a message titled "Challenges for the Future" on the company's bulletin board as his inaugural address in 2022.
In it, we said, "A company that turns dreams and imagination into reality, a company that constantly opens up new worlds, a company that enriches human society with unprecedented technology. This is the vision that you and I have in common. The Samsung of the future.
"I believe that there is a way to achieve this," he said, calling on people to "work together to surpass the current Samsung and create a truly top-class company that is loved by the people and the world."
