Last year, in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, a man was caught on CCTV while fleeing after stabbing a high school girl he had never met to death.
"The laughter of suspect Park Dae-seong, who was also killed in the crime, seems to have been in the same vein," he told the Hankook Ilbo. Police investigations revealed that Myeong had searched the internet for crime tools and articles about past murder cases before the crime.
The police are focusing their investigation on the possibility of a planned crime, but have been unable to interview Teacher Myung face-to-face.
Teacher Myung, who killed Haneul and then committed suicide, is undergoing IV suture surgery and is resting in the intensive care unit.
