Four Korean opinion polling companies, Mbrain Public, KEI Stat Research, Korea Research, and Korea Research, conducted a survey of 10,000 men and women aged 18 and over from the 17th to the 19th of this month.
According to the National Survey of Supporters (NBS) conducted in the third week of February among 10,000 people, Lee's approval rating dropped by 1 percentage point from the previous week's survey to 31%, while Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo's approval rating dropped by 3 percentage points.
Next came Seoul Mayor Oh Sehun at 8 percent, followed by Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo and former ruling party “Korean” Mayor Han Dong-hoon at 10 percent.
The representative of the "Min no Chikara" Party made up 5% of the votes, while "no one applicable, don't know, or no answer" increased by 3 percentage points to 31%.
In the survey on "Presidential Candidate Favorability," the top three candidates were Lee (35%), Mayor Oh (25%), and Minister of Employment and Labor Kim.
The approval ratings for the ruling party were 37%, the same as the previous week, while the Democratic Party of Korea recorded 34%, down 2 percentage points.
This was followed by the Fatherland Reform Party (3%), the New Reform Party (3%), and the Progressive Party (1%), with 17% of respondents saying they were "undecided."
