The film "Invasion" is about Yeong-eun (played by Kwak Sun Young), whose daily life is disrupted by her daughter Seohyun's strange behavior, and Min (played by Kwak Sun Young, a member of Girls' Generation), who has lost her memory 20 years later.
This psychological thriller depicts the rift that occurs when Min (played by Yuri) confronts Hye-young (played by Lee Sul). In the drama, Lee Sul plays Hye-young, a new employee at the special cleaning company where Min works.
Hye-young lost her family in an accident when she was young and has been moving from place to place ever since. She is friendly and cheerful, and blends in with her friends, but when she senses that Min is wary of her, she becomes subtly nervous.
The released stills show Hye-young's complex expressions, even though she naturally blends into the daily lives of others with her refreshing smile, making it hard to understand what she is thinking at times.
The way she looks down at someone in the mirror shows the charm of Hye-young's character, who is unpredictable. Lee Seul said, "I thought Hye-young was a girl who craved love more than anyone else.
"I created the character by thinking a lot about the anger, loss, and sadness I felt," he said. The film "Invasion" will be released in theaters in Korea on March 12th.
