The entry declaration is for foreigners who enter Korea for short-term stays of 90 days or less, such as tourists.

They hope to ease congestion and attract more foreign tourists. A Ministry of Justice official said, "By entering and submitting declaration information electronically, we will be able to improve the accuracy of information and work efficiency.
This will enable more systematic management of information on foreign entrants and will also help with safer border control."
