”40 minute wait”... A line at a sandwich shop in Sacred Heart Temple, South Korea
The new sandwich specialty store of Sungsimdang, a representative bakery in Daejeon, South Korea, has been flooded with viral visitors.
The previous day, Sacred Heart Temple's Instagram account posted a post titled "Sandwich Stop Now Open."
Prior to this, on the 22nd of last month, Seishindo opened a new sandwich specialty store called "Sandwich Station" in the basement of its main store near Ota Chuo Station in Naka-ku, Ota City.
Seishindo said, "The Sandwich stop opened on Saturday, February 22nd. We would like to thank all the customers who visited us."
"We just opened and we still have a lot of things we're not yet fully trained in, but we'll do our best," he said. The photos released along with the photo show the exterior of the sandwich station, sandwiches and drinks for sale, and a photo of the sandwich stop.
Since the sandwich station opened, social media has been flooded with viral comments from visitors.
"10 Bonbours disappeared in 0.5 seconds," "The queue is not going away," and other viral posts were posted. Meanwhile, the company is aiming to become the first single bakery brand to achieve annual sales of 100 billion won by 2023.
This is not the first time that Seishindo, which has surpassed the 100 million mark, has opened a specialty store. In 2013, it opened a "Cake Boutique" store in its main store, which specializes in popular cake menu items such as "Pure Roll."
It opened next door in October last year as the first "Age Soboro Station" store, selling its signature dish, deep-fried soboro bread.
