Rusty shells discovered at construction site in Anyang, Seoul, South Korea

A rusty artillery shell was discovered along the Anyang River in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
According to the Seoul Geumcheon Police Station, at around 10:32 a.m. on the 26th,
It was reported that a rusty shell measuring approximately one meter in length was found during excavation work at a disaster prevention facility construction site. The police determined that the risk of explosion could not be ruled out and handed the site over to military authorities.
The military reportedly mobilized explosive ordnance disposal teams to remove the detonator and then sent the shell to Seoul Airport.
