ハ・ジョンウ、映画「ロビー」で10年ぶりに監督としてカムバック
Ha Jung Woo makes his comeback as a director after 10 years with the movie ”Lobby”
Ha Jung Woo, the director of the movie "Lobby," has revealed his intentions for planning and directing. The movie "Lobby" is about a startup CEO named Chang Wook (played by Ha Jung Woo) who only knows research, but is trying to save 4 trillion yen.
The story is about Won's first lobby golf game in order to win a national project. He made his directorial debut with "Roller Coaster" in 2013, and has directed his first mega-hit film in 10 years since "Someday in the Family" in 2015.
Director Ha Jung Woo, who is also an actor and director, has added freshness to the film with his unique ideas and brilliant words.
Focusing on the way various businesses are conducted, this film combines the world of lobby golf, Korea's first lobby golf film, with cinematic imagination. Director Ha Jung Woo said, "Generally, lobbies are closed spaces.
I think that the vast golf course is the real secret space. Four golfers come here with their own goals, and the film depicts the characters in their situations.
"I thought it would be very interesting to see the movie," he said, explaining why he first came up with the idea for the film. He added, "Life is not about things going as you want them to. Everything in life is a matter of chance. I wanted to find cinematic fun in those chance events."
In particular, the actors who were reading the script for the first time commented, "It's a work that has the DNA of 'Roller Coaster'" (Lee Dong-Hwi), "The sense of words and the flow of the lines are great.
"It's a good scenario," said Park Byung Eun. The movie "Lobby" is scheduled to be released in Korea on April 2nd.
