Three in 10 South Korean consumers say they have reduced their milk consumption in the past year
Three out of 10 Korean consumers have reported that they have "decreased their milk consumption" over the past year.
According to the results of the "Survey on Milk Consumption Trends," 31.7% of consumers who participated in the survey answered that their milk consumption had decreased over the past year.
The survey was conducted from June 21 to November 15 of last year, targeting 1,000 men and women aged between 14 and 68.
The percentage of people who answered that their milk consumption has decreased this time was down 3.4 percentage points from 35.1% in the previous survey (2022).
On the other hand, 19.5% of respondents said that their milk consumption had increased in the past year, down from the previous survey.
The overall increase was 1.4%. For individuals, 77.2% answered that they "drink milk at least once a week," and 63.8% answered that they "preferably drink white milk."
